Hon. President and also Represents his club Brockworth
Started playing in 1951 at Sir Thomas Rich School.
Introduced to senior rugby in 1956 with Longlevens RFC will still at school. Continued playing during national service
Clubs played for Fielding & Platt's (Atlas S.C.), Old Richians (when still Old Boys) and Longlevens
In 1967 left Gloucester for Hampshire & Leicestershire playing for Trojans (Hamps) & Hinkley & Market Bosworth (Leics). In 1983 played for Bosworth 2nd XV along side my two sons (Eldest boy at scrum half, myself at loosehead , and youngest at hooker) After this I eased off only playing a handful of games a season, becoming involved in coaching Cottse 1st XV.
Eventually playing for Brockworth Vets in 2001 on Remembrance Sunday (my only game).
This means I've played rugby in 6 decades !!!!
My passion now is watching and collecting rugby memorabilia
